Schedule
BraFie is a live-in basketball camp and tournament where development, competition, travel, and connection unfold as one continuous experience.
Arrival in Accra
Touch down in Accra and settle in. Teams check into Safari Homes, meet fellow participants, and gather for a welcome dinner that kicks off the programme.
Training Begins
The work starts. Players hit the court for skills development and team practice, then wind down with an Accra city tour and a shared team dinner.
Training & Scrimmages
Intensity picks up with strength and conditioning in the morning followed by live scrimmage games against other visiting teams in the afternoon.
Cape Coast Cultural Trip
A full day away from the gym. Teams travel Ghana's coastline to Cape Coast, visit Cape Coast Castle, enjoy a beach lunch, and optionally face off against local sides before returning to Accra.
Tournament Prep
Final tune-up before tournament day. Conditioning in the morning, focused team practice in the afternoon, and evening scrimmages to lock in rotations and game plans.
Bra Fie Tournament
The main event. Visiting and local teams compete in the Bra Fie Tournament, with the day culminating in watching the Accra Youth League playoffs and finals.
Safari Valley Experience
A day to decompress and celebrate together. Teams head to Safari Valley Resort for team bonding, relaxation, and a well-earned send-off before the final morning.
Departure
Check out of Safari Homes and transfer to Kotoka International Airport. Players leave Ghana with new skills, new friendships, and a connection to home.
Common questions
What is the minimum squad size to register a team?
You can register with as few as 2 players. We recommend a 10–12 player roster to give you flexibility across camp training days and tournament scheduling.
What level of competition should we expect?
The field includes local Ghanaian clubs and international invitees. Expect structured, competitive games in a genuine showcase environment — not casual pickup. If you are a development-level team, the camp and clinic components will still give you real value.
Does the programme cover accommodation and meals?
Accommodation at Safari Homes and most daily meals are included in the team package. The exact inclusions are confirmed during the follow-up after your registration is reviewed.
Can we arrive early or extend our stay after the programme?
Yes. The team can help coordinate logistics around early arrivals and post-event stays. Accra has solid infrastructure and there is genuine value in building extra days around the trip.
